Jaycee Shine is from a small patch of woods called Sprott, Alabama. She followed her passion for visual art to Anderson University where she studied Art Education with a focus of oil painting, watercolor, and three-dimensional design. She began apprenticing in 2020 under Jessica Silva who showed her how to use the fundamentals of traditional art on this new canvas of skin. As a tattoo artist, she’s interested in working with black and gray realism, color realism, blackwork, ornamental, weighted line, and stipple shaded pieces. She draws inspiration from observing natural structures and patterns. She’s constantly overwhelmed with joy to be able to work with such an amazingly talented group of ladies, and for the opportunity to work one-on-one with each client to create a piece of artwork unique to them.
